Who Makes More Sense on the Meaning of Life — Atheists or Christians?

I’m taking a brief departure from my usual coverage of politics again to revisit some discussion of Christianity and atheism because I devoted so much of my life to the topic.

But I’ve written two new posts today on my usual political coverage, if you are interested: (1) on my interview with the Canadian Ambassador to Czechia, and (2) why it’s time for Biden to move the baton to a next Democratic candidate.

Here, we’re talking about the meaning of life.

In a lot of discussions I have had over the years with people of faith, I am usually told that atheists cannot find meaning in life because everything is arbitrary.

They insist that there is a necessary nihilism in the stars — a vacuousness.

I disagree. In my view, it is precisely this arbitrariness that allows us the freedom to find the meaning of life in anything worthwhile that we seek.

So, can we find meaning in life even if life inevitably results in death?

Yes, yes we can. Let me explain.
