Yes, I think you are quite right. I wouldn’t demarcate between ordinary and intelligent, though. I think a lot of us have our intuitions and they dictate a lot of what we think. But I hear you. The most frustrating aspect is that the propaganda is tailored to those who don’t really think about politics deeply. And they have the large power of changing the outcomes of elections because they are the majority in the end.
