The reality is that nuclear threat was also a prescient concern we should have been focusing much of our attention on.

Experts have long warned that there are very few measures put in place to deter a lunatic in charge of nuclear weapons from releasing them.

As Russia is at war with Ukraine, these threats became even more of a reality that we should address.

If Putin starts a nuclear war, it will mean the beginning of the end.

Nikita Khrushchev, after taking over from Stalin and learning about the dangers of nuclear weapons in 1953 therefore rightly said,

“I couldn’t sleep for several days. Then I became convinced that we could never possibly use these weapons, and when I realized that I was able to sleep again.”

If a nuclear war outbroke between the U.S. and Russia, an American attack on Russia with approximately 1300 warheads would within hours of the attack cause lethal ramifications for an area larger than France and the United Kingdom.

Anywhere from 11 to 17 million civilians would lose their lives.

That is, if Russia engages NATO militarily and NATO allies choose to act decisively against Russia.
