Very true. I think religious communities have absolutely figured out communion. And secular communities need to tackle this. Of course, it's much more decentralized, so it will be difficult to have a cohesive response. We need to, at least, start to emphasize the central importance of community again in secular lives, teach it to our kids. Vulnerability, honesty, etc. in communities is invaluable.

Couldn't agree more. We shouldn't be islands. Hopefully we learn to get better at this.
