There’s a lot of assumptions in your comment.

1. Why do you think that there is one American defense strategy?
2. Why do you assume that increased weaponry supply is not assumed in my article/ outright proposed?
3. Why would you trust Putin with “settlements”?
4. At what point is existential threat easily distinguishable for us and why would it be the same for Putin?

There are a few other questions I would have for you from the comment, mainly because these issues are so complicated. I think to keep ourselves sane and not write an essay in response to everything we see or read, we have to attempt brevity.
