There are some valuable lessons in conservative political philosophy, but increasingly conservatism is represented by people who are merely socially conservative and nationalistic because of it. I personally detest this obsession they have with preserving “Judeo-Christian” values in the West, as if (1) there’s something special about them and (2) that we are actually marked by them in the first place. We’re not.
