The Political Consequences of the Pandemic

COVID-19 changed all of us. We had to adjust to conditions that few were familiar with. Masks. Social distancing. Loneliness. Needless bickering with our loved ones who lived in close proximity with us for months on end. Show binging. Food binging. We all know it well.

The pandemic also brought out polarization, nastiness, and disenfranchisement. And that hurt our political institutions, democracy, and principles of rule and law.
