That is why I loved A. C. Grayling’s book on Christianity and The Case for Humanism. Half of the book is devoted to dealing with particular claims Christianity makes. The rest deals with the various different philosophers that the Enlightenment gave us and why those principles are more effective to live altruistic lives.
