Yes, it's very curious how both sides are adamant about the other side "being more evil." But with the context of this past weekend, that is a very difficult reality to understand. The terrorist attacks are fresh. To my knowledge, since Israel launched attacks on Gaza this week, at least 2,000 civilians have been killed and 1,500 Hamas fighters. Those are numbers I've seen in a few places. Once again, to compare is pointless. But, once again, an asymmetry of power exists. It's always been here. To ignore it is to live in a fantasy.

So, full support of Israel excuses this violence.
