Sadly, we could draw some distinct parallels between Bush and Putin. I share people’s concerns when it comes to blaming Putin for some “inordinate” behavior as if the US hasn't killed hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians in the Middle East.

I presently focus on Putin because it’s a prescient topic and I am close to the region, living in Warsaw now, and from Slovakia originally. Ukrainian refugees have dined at my house and family members have taken families in for months now.

I am very troubled with Ukraine but that doesn’t mean that I find the US’ neoconservative foreign policy of the last 20 years or so deeply disturbing.
