Russia’s New Strategy — Operation Pause

Putin’s war in Ukraine is now nearly in its sixth month. Many have been discussing how Putin has taken a slower approach in recent months due to the failed logistics of their attempt at blitzkrieg on Kyiv.

This change in strategy is portrayed as a freely chosen military strategy, by the Russians, but according to reasonable estimates, the change is likely due to both troop and equipment depletion by the Russian forces.

They have been taking heavy casualties. So, Putin’s new operation, “Operation Pause,” deserves some of our attention…
