It’s October 10th, 2022, and at this point, we should not be surprised by Russia resorting to needless violence on innocent citizens across Ukraine. But whenever news reaches us of yet another set of countless bombings in residential areas, parks, and schools, it’s still bewildering.

Have Russian authorities not seen that Ukraine’s morale cannot be broken? Needless suffering and pointless killing.

Here’s what you need to know about Russia’s latest set of missiles on Ukraine.

Heavy fire and fighting across Ukraine is — sadly — not new. By now, it seems that Ukrainians are used to the bomb sirens. War is still waging. But as of today, Kyiv has seen its first bombing in months.

So, what changed?

Speaking on the streets of Kyiv, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said:

“This morning is difficult. We are dealing with terrorists. Dozens of missiles and Iranian Shaheds. They have two targets. Energy facilities throughout the country … the second target is people.”
