Psychedelics Made Me Meditate More — On How Psychedelics Changed Me

My readers will know that I typically like to focus on the political intersection with history and religion, but lately, I’ve been writing about my Christian past and what made me abandon my beliefs because of how many people benefited from one of my recent articles on the topic. Here’s the link.
Here, I would like to explore how psychedelics brought me closer to a consistent meditation practice.
Let me explain.
I don’t recall the exact date I took my first dose of psychedelics. It was around my 2nd and prior to my 3rd year at university that I was introduced to them.
Although, for some reason, I remember the second time I took them. And I remember that it was the second time.
I was with a friend from Kelowna, who I met in high school (Jesse John) and a relatively new friend I made from one of the cafes I was working at. He would frequently visit as a customer.
