You had a couple of really great ideas & insight in this post. I wonder, what University/College did you go to? Seems really intense (the prof kicking you out of class). That seems abusive & illegal. I don’t know if profs have the authority to do such things regularly.

Also, critical thinking and thinking critically is a very important distinction. I think you wanted to use “thinking critically” in this post. Critical Thinking is a term applied in Logic courses and Philosophy and is used in relation to being able to recognize different Logical Fallacies (of Relevance, Insufficient Evidence), Deductive vs. Inductive Reasoning, etc.

But either way, I think it comes across as the same to most people. So no serious problem.
