Oh yes definitely, I should be clear here and I aimed to be clear in the post. Russian behavior is most certainly imperialist. The USSR at certain junctures was not, but under Stalin and Brezhnev, it most definitely was. There’s some nuances and in history it is good to be as precise as we can be. For the sake of Ukraine of course, these subtleties are presently irrelevant, which is very understandable.
