Interesting article!

First of all, I appreciate the mention.

I believe that if you keep reading, you’ll understand sooner or later, that there is little truth in the principles of Christianity. The fact that Christians are not being actual believers, is just a sign of the ignorance that you will have to deal with your entire life.

As someone who shows promise and intellectual curiosity, it is not the most productive place for you to be.

You mentioned you are a student of History, you should read Peter Watson’s book, The Age of Atheists: How We Have Sought to Live Since the Death of God. It does a remarkable job at explaining historically how Christianity has failed us.

Also, if you are willing to exchange a handful of emails/ comments — I am willing to challenge you on your position and be challenged by you.

I have just published a post you should read if you are willing to give this more thought: The Top 5 Reasons I Am An Atheist.

I’d love if you take some time to look at some of the premises in that blog post and challenge them/ write about them more.

You have mentioned Francis Schaeffer, C. S. Lewis, and others in your blog. You have definitely come across Apologists, but as you have pointed out in your article, it really isn’t about Apologetics.

I look forward to the response.
