If I am not mistaken, Sam Harris was a vegan or vegetarian (not entirely sure on this one) for 8 years — not 6.

All in all, I really don’t understand the beef you have with someone who sincerely tried veganism out. I mean, this is not a three month endeavor, such as I had (which I failed at). This is 8 years of complete abstinence.

If there were 20 million more people like Sam Harris that try veganism out for 8 years, then we’d no doubt have enabled free range farming.

Really, think about your criticism here. Would you have attacked me for failing at veganism this harshly? I would think that you wouldn’t. Probably because you wouldn’t want me to be discouraged — rightly so.

Then, why are you harsh on someone that has spent 17% of his life until now vegan?
