I think it's easier said than done!

I agree with you up to a point. The Holocaust is a great example of that and Chomsky famously defended the speech of Holocaust-deniars.

But I think there are too many things that don't fall under that category. The firehose of falsehoods typical of the Trump figures is simply too prominent and effective.

It takes much more effort to combat the lies than it does to say them. And that is where the primary issue is from me.

But obviously I'm open to changing my view on that! Always good to hear the opposing view.
