I respect your opinion Jeff. I don’t mean to discredit any articles that are in the style of “how to . . . ”. I have done this as well. Most recently stating, “How to Debate Well on Twitter”.

My point is simply that a lot of the systems to do actions are very complex and need years of practicing. I think that a lot of the people on this platform that are trying to provide advice have very little clue on exactly how those things work. What they know is, however, how articles get views on Medium. That is why, I believe, they write these articles.

I am thankful that people are reading in general. It is no doubt because of the ambition in people’s hearts that people are reading such articles. They probably need encouragement or some sort of motivation as well, that is okay.

What I wish for is a platform where people are reading material for the sake of the material not for the sake of what the material can get them.

Usually it is those creators that I respect.
