I know quite a lot of pastors that still quote that sermon as a valid example of representing hell biblically and “accurately.” Let’s give them this much: it is an accurate depiction of hell.

Which is why abandoning the belief is easier, since it’s so obviously bizarre.

Did you already come out as gay when you were in your evangelical circles? Or did you do that after you left the church?
