I am under no illusion that (perhaps even a significant) percentage of Crimeans wanted to belong to Crimea in 2014. However, if the referendum was correctly dubbed as illegal, then that begs the question as to what extent it was valid?

I am all for legal and fair elections. Presently, I am not so sure that many Crimeans would like to belong to Russia.
