Hundreds of Russian & Ukrainian Soldiers Killed Daily in Putin’s War
The war is taking a severe toll on the lives of innocent Ukrainians. Civilians and soldiers alike are dying at rates that are difficult to stomach.
Russians are being killed at exponential rates as well. And, morally, they are more difficult to sympathize with since reports have claimed that there is widespread torture, alcoholism, and kidnapping among their ranks.
On some days, Ukrainians have up to 1,000 casualties (including both injured and killed). The same can be said about the Russian side. Can the two sides keep up this rate of warfare? A new Russian offensive on Kyiv looms, so we might not see the end of this conflict anytime soon. Let’s hope we’re wrong about that.
Ukrainian Military Casualties
The reality is that in any given month, Ukraine suffers around 20,000 casualties (once more, included are both wounded and killed).
But according to some estimates, Ukraine has at least 500,000 troops to rely on, due to their mobilization of Ukrainian men. But they could have much more than that. I have also read that they have approximately 700,000 in reserve, waiting to be trained and equipped to defend their homeland.
