Hmm by logic I mean, there are some rules that we usually tend to follow. For example if I ‘straw man’ your argument, you will feel misrepresented and point out that I do not understand your point.
There are countless logical fallacies however, such as ‘Appeal to Ignorance,’ ‘Slippery Slope,’ ‘Inappropriate Appeal to Authority,’ ‘Red Herring,’ etc., you’re familiar with these I am sure.
My point is, if we are to communicate well (use language well), we have to subscribe to these universal laws.
