I find your proposal intriguing and might invite you on to discuss your book on alternative democracy later on (in between “seasons” of the podcast) as a bonus episode if you will still be up for it!

However, I would love to have you on to discuss this upbringing and diaspora background! I believe there will be a lot of interest in that.

On a related note, do you happen to know the Ferencik family from Alberta? My grandfather’s uncle also emigrated to Canada in the 1930s (Slovak origin). It would be interesting if they had correspondence. I would doubt you knowing specifics about the families they were in touch with. But maybe if they had letters from that time?
