F-16s in Ukraine: A Game Changer? — Why Putin Won’t Resort to Nukes

In light of Putin’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the threat of nuclear war has indeed increased, but it’s not as imminent as some might suggest.

The US has made it very clear that they are closely monitoring Putin’s actions, including his movements, communications, and the progress of his military campaign.

If Putin were to launch a nuclear missile at Ukrainian territory, it would be tantamount to signing his own death warrant. He understands this reality, and his nuclear threats are, at their core, just bluster.

The far-right in Europe would have less leverage than it has now. Donald Trump in the US, along with his puppet JD Vance, would not have the anti-war platform to run their campaign on (which is increasingly popular).

So, yes, finally the F-16s have become operational in Ukraine. They didn’t do so earlier because of a cataclysmic misjudgment of Putin and slow US foreign policy. That is all now in the past.

How will they change things now?

Let me explain.

“F-16s are in Ukraine. We did it. I am proud of our guys who are mastering these jets and have already started using them for our country.”

— Volodymyr Zelensky
