Another Big Reason Putin Must be Stopped

Neo-Nazis have tormented European shores for some time now.

Sadly, it didn’t end with the defeat of the Axis powers in 1945. Forms of Italian Fascism and German Nazism stuck with us in the post-war period up until now.

With the largest war on European soil since World War II, many have glanced back at our history and made parallels between then and now — and for good reason.

There are parallels. And they are concerning.

The most prescient parallel, is the damaging force “soft fascism” and neo-Nazism pose to Europe and beyond.

The best way to show that neo-Nazis are a real problem we are facing right now in Europe is by highlighting their support for Putin, who is the quintessential figure representing autocracy right now.

Concerningly, many political parties, including Bulgarian, Italian, Greek, Swedish, and others praised Putin for his efforts to unite Ukraine and Russia from 2014 onwards.

In Bulgaria, the fascist party can trace its genesis to its political campaign in Moscow. In Greece, Golden Dawn released statements against sanctioning Russia over its invasion of Ukraine in 2015. In Italy, The National Front’s Matteo Salvini, the former Deputy…
