Did Ukraine Launch Offensives on Russian Land?

Understandably, Ukraine has repeatedly denied claims that it is targeting Russian units on Russian soil.

Despite my fervent support for Ukraine, I have to acknowledge that Ukraine is also playing an information war. And they most certainly have incentives to lie about their war efforts, especially when they have to balance utilitarian decision-making with creating PR conditions to receive military supplies from the West (namely, the US).

Officially, Zelensky claimed: “We don’t attack Russian territory, we liberate our own legitimate territory.” He continued, “We have neither the time nor the strength (to attack Russia).”

But what are we to make about the numerous explosions on Russian land? Is it possible that Ukraine has indeed targeted Russian units within its territory?

Let’s discuss.

First, it’s important to note that Ukraine has allegiances with Russian units. Not many are aware of this. And they are technically separate from the Ukrainian military, so Ukraine can deny any collaboration between the two.

The two units I have in mind here are the Russian Volunteer Corps and the Freedom of Russia Legion.

Is it possible that Ukraine occasionally commands these units? Well, yes. It’s definitely possible…
