Couldn’t agree more here brother!

I went on a trip to LA (and a couple of other cities) in February and could not help but notice that the four dudes (straight up) went with did not engage in much dialogue apart from girls, sports, and music. And when I say music I don’t mean Ben Howard’s new upcoming album, I mean DJ Khalid and DJ Snake.. all that stuff.

And yet when I’m here in Kelowna, BC, I choose the company of people that like to have deeper conversations on politics, societal issues, religion, meditation, and often times personal stuff that we’re going through.

I had to leave continents (mainly England ;) — nothing personal) to find that and keep it.

It is actually an invaluable source of happiness and groundedness.
