Christian Republicans Hijacked Trump — But How Connected Will Trump Be to Project 2025?

Since US President Donald Trump has been inaugurated this week, I thought it would be worth it to revisit the project that those who endorsed him want to enforce in the US.

Project 2025, a 900-page document created by the Heritage Foundation, has been the focus of much discussion. Although Donald Trump has distanced himself from Project 2025, many are stating the obvious, namely that it was spearheaded by former officials from his administration.

Trump is closely associated with the chief architects and authors behind the Heritage Foundation document.

So, what is Project 2025? And how connected will Trump be to the infamous document?

Let me explain.

In a nutshell, Project 2025 proposes the dismissal of thousands of civil servants, expanding presidential powers, dismantling the Department of Education, implementing sweeping tax cuts, banning pornography, halting the sale of abortion pills, and more.
