Be Mindful In The Corona Days
Musings on Awareness
For the past few months, I’ve been thinking about how instead of judging days as either good or bad by the regular means that society instills in us, I should simply experience them as they are appearing to me in what we call consciousness.
Instead of judgment, I merely try to experience without giving too much awareness of the unpleasant.
The unpleasant only exists in the mind — if you dwell on it you provide it with a longer lifespan. In that sense, your commentary determines whether your experience is felt positively or negatively.
From the many discussions I’ve had over the year, it seems as if most are perceiving the world negatively because they get caught up in the ceaseless prison of the inner voice.
