An excellent question, one that many of us are thinking about.

For myself, I don't think there is a persuasive case to say that Poland would get involved. In my view, Belarussian involvement is similar to the case of Ukraine's airspace; NATO can and (morally) could do a lot to prevent airstrikes and missiles from killing civilians in Ukraine, but they refuse because of fears of escalation. In the same way, I believe Poland would ultimately not partake due to NATO pressures.

But I can be wrong about that.

Another point is that we don't know the capability of Belarussian soldiers. It may be as bad or worse than what we have seen from Russian soldiers. So, their involvement may not turn the tide in a way that Putin would hope for.

I imagine that you had a similar understanding. Or would you think that Poland would get involved despite NATO's calls to deescalate?
