All very good questions. I appreciate you posing them.

Personally, I am on the consequentialist side of things when it comes to establishing the rights of the fetus. For me, the line is when the fetus can suffer. Up until that point (the second trimester), the woman is obviously free to decide. And after that point (10% of abortions, mind you) abortions are rare and should be decided based on the risk to the life of the woman.
