500,000 Russian Troops Trained to Attack Kyiv in the Summer of 2023 — The Future of the Conflict
Ukraine is in an arms race. It needs tanks, military equipment, and personnel to be able to repel Russia’s potential new offensive in the summer.
The US has stepped up with $76.8 billion USD sent to Ukraine from January 2022 to January 2023. 61% of that was military assistance. But neighboring nations are signaling warning signs.
The Czech president, Petr Pavel, claimed that the Czech Republic simply does not have any more military equipment to send; they’ve run out. Other nations are no doubt close to succumbing to shortages as well.

It’s been more than a year since Putin’s full-scale invasion and as a result a lot of lives and military equipment have been lost.
When it comes to US support, the truth is that the US doesn’t have much to lose here. They are spending billions of dollars, but they are slowly dismantling an authoritarian regime that has been adding to instability in foreign affairs since at least 2008, when Russia invaded Georgia.
